Empowering Families to Thrive

Our Story
More From Life Therapy began with one simple goal: helping children and families build the skills and confidence they need to thrive.
The idea for More From Life Therapy started when Bri Sheets was in fourth grade. As a volunteer in her elementary school’s special education classroom, she saw how teachers and therapists helped students build skills, grow their independence, and succeed in their own unique ways. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for helping children with disabilities live full and meaningful lives.
Bri later earned her Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy and her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toledo. During her doctoral training, she studied how disabilities impact the entire family and explored ways to support attention and learning through movement in the classroom.
After graduation, Bri spent ten years working as a pediatric occupational therapist in local schools. During that time, she saw how powerful therapy can be when children receive the right support — and how challenging it can be when families have limited access to services or opportunities to be involved in the process.
More From Life Therapy was created to change that experience. This pediatric occupational therapy clinic in Vandalia, Ohio was designed to support both children and families while bringing therapy services closer to families in northern Montgomery County and the greater Dayton area.
The name More From Life Therapy reflects the heart of the clinic’s mission: helping children build the skills, confidence, and independence they need so they — and their families — can truly get more from life.
Bri Sheets founded More From Life Therapy with the goal of creating a welcoming space where children can grow and families feel supported every step of the way.
Our Approach
At More From Life Therapy, we focus on supporting the whole child and the whole family. Children grow and learn best when caregivers feel supported and involved.

We work closely with families to understand each child’s strengths, challenges, and goals. From there, we create personalized therapy plans designed to build skills, confidence, and independence in everyday life.
Our goal is not only to help children develop new abilities, but also to support families in creating lasting progress beyond the therapy room.
Our Values
Respect for Every Child
We believe every child deserves support that meets them where they are and celebrates their unique strengths.
Partnership With Families
Caregivers are an important part of the therapy process. We work together to support each child’s growth at home and in everyday life.
Meaningful Progress
Our focus is on building skills that help children succeed in real-life situations — at home, at school, and in their community.
Compassion and Understanding
We strive to create a welcoming environment where children and families feel supported, respected, and encouraged.

Supporting Families
Family involvement plays an important role in a child’s success. While therapy sessions may happen once or twice each week, children practice and grow through everyday routines at home, school, and in their community.
We work alongside caregivers by providing guidance, education, and practical ideas that can be used outside of therapy sessions. When families feel confident and supported, children are better able to grow and thrive.
A Space for Caregivers
Caring for a child with additional needs can be demanding, and many caregivers rarely have time to pause and take care of themselves.
While your child is in therapy, you are welcome to relax in our caregiver space. This calm and comfortable area offers seating, quiet music, and complimentary coffee, snacks, and water — giving you a chance to recharge while your child receives services.
Health & Safety
The health and safety of our clients is always a priority. We maintain a clean and welcoming therapy environment and follow recommended health and safety practices.
Our therapists are licensed professionals who follow high ethical and professional standards to ensure families receive safe, high-quality care.
Working with Professionals
More From Life Therapy values collaboration with the professionals who support children in their daily lives. We welcome communication with pediatricians, teachers, school teams, and other specialists to help ensure children receive consistent and coordinated support.
If you are a professional looking for therapy services for a child or family, we are happy to connect and discuss how we can work together to support their needs.
