A Different Kind of Summer Camp Experience

     The More From Life Summer Series offers small-group, therapeutic camps designed to help children build confidence, social connection, and school-ready skills through play.

​

     Led by a pediatric occupational therapist, each camp provides structured, supportive experiences for children who benefit from extra help with social interaction, regulation, or group participation.

​

     Camps are intentionally small to ensure individualized support while children practice real-world skills in a fun and encouraging environment.

​

     Each camp theme is offered for two separate weeks. While the focus remains the same, activities and experiences are different each week, allowing children to attend one week or multiple weeks without repetition.

Program Details

  • Ages 2.5–5 years — Morning Session

  • Ages 6–10 years — Afternoon Session

  • Monday–Thursday | 2.5–3 hour sessions

  • Maximum 5 children per group

  • Two trained staff members at all times

We recognize that children develop at different rates, and chronological age does not always reflect developmental readiness. Our age ranges are provided as a guide. If you think your child may benefit from a different group, please reach out so we can help find the best fit.

Who is This Camp For

​​Ideal for children who:

  • Struggle in large or busy camp environments

  • Need support with social interaction or regulation

  • Benefit from structured, supportive group experiences

Inclusive & Supportive Environment

We strive to create a welcoming and supportive camp experience for all children. Participation in our camps is not limited by:

  • Not being potty trained

  • Using alternative or augmentative communication methods

  • Differences in regulation or emotional support needs

  • Needing movement or sensory supports

  • Difficulty with transitions or changes in routine

  • Shyness, anxiety, or hesitation in group settings

 

Our small-group structure allows us to meet children where they are while supporting safe and successful participation.

While we aim to support a wide range of needs, all participants must be able to safely engage within a small-group environment.
